Uptown, Downtown, All Around the Town: Get Acquainted with the City (4-7 Hours)

A Friend in New York will make New York your own with a customized, special visit to the city, with a focus on your interests and desires. An experienced, licensed New York City guide of your own, a specialist in New York history, society and architecture, will provide insight to such areas and landmarks as Midtown Manhattan, with Rockefeller Center, Times Square, the Empire State Building, Grand Central and the United Nations; Lower Manhattan, with Greenwich Village, the Statue of Liberty, the Stock Exchange, SoHo, Chinatown and Little Italy, and South Street Seaport, the Lower East Side and East Village; or the West Side and Upper Manhattan, with Central Park, Lincoln Center, the American Museum of Natural History, Grant's Tomb, Columbia University, the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, Harlem, Museum Mile and Upper Fifth Avenue and the Upper East Side.

Your day includes full transportation by van or minibus with driver, tour director (licensed guide), taxes and gratuities. A general overview of all or most of the areas and landmarks named above will require an full day. An appropriate lunch can be scheduled and is recommended on tours of more than four hours.
