A Friend in New York™ can obtain tickets for clients directly for the best seats available for most Broadway shows. The most popular shows currently running are Jersey Boys, Wicked and Billy Elliot. These shows always sell out on weekends. Discounts are not available for these shows. Please check our “Show Details and Updates” page for the latest information on the availability of tickets for these shows.

Discount tickets rarely available for advance purchase for any Saturday night Broadway performance. However, unsold tickets go on sale for Saturday night shows at 2:00 p.m. at the TKTS booth in Times Square, near the hotel. They are usually $110 tickets at half price. The line starts forming for these tickets early in the day.

When you purchase tickets for most shows through A Friend in New York™, your tickets will be held at the box office in the name of the purchaser. A Friend in New York™ will send the purchaser a voucher confirming the performance and the purchase of tickets. Show tickets are offered for final sale only and are not refundable. However, tickets purchased though A Friend in New York™ will be refundable up to 2 weeks before the performance date, minus the service fee. A Friend in New York™ charges a 7.5% service fee for most shows, except 15% for Jersey Boys, Billy Elliot and Wicked.
